The ending is nice, but I can't help but feel this all felt rushed and it left me feeling unsatisfied.
Oh, totally rushed. They just suddenly say “oh ok let’s not have war” and everything just defuses immediately despite the high conspiracy involving AN ENEMY PRINCE. Like, since when humans can gloss over such conflict that quickly without going ham on each other? There’s also the fact that Guardia’s first prince is dead, and the second prince is most likely in the gaol, so it should trigger some strive.

The author lost interest, and the huge negative reaction to changing her appearance from Mocha to White killed 98% of the commenters. I guess people found out that the author intended for her to be white, and the redrawer decided against it and made her light Mocha again.

Funny how they made her white due to bullshit reasons and then after that she become a lil less black more like tan now.

If anything Guardia should be in civil strife now, they're having a succession crisis, with a bastard second prince who rumors say killed the first. I don't think they'll be in any state to wage wars with the way their own nobles would chase after the throne
