Not the full salad.
I think the author meant some salad ingredients like lettuce and cucumbers.
Some salad ingredients are bad or even toxic for dogs afterall, and you shouldn't give any salad dressing to them.

Maybe that's why the mangaka only drew lettuce.

mine will take the avocado that fall, bury them for a few day to let them ripe to her likening, then she will take them out peel the skin and eat them, she will do it with some fruit too, she can be pretty clever when it come too food ...
