They're both such stubborn little shits. They really are so similar. It's like they were made for each other, but at the same time, they have so much shit to work through...
But then... amnesia. I pretty much saw it coming, too, the moment he started acting so bewildered when only Chitoge was by him.
I feel like this won't really extend all that long. Like, shit's going to fix itself in probably only a few chapters. I mean, the end of the volume is only so far away, and I feel like they wouldn't have spread it across volumes. This arc probably would have been one episode of the anime, if they bothered to adapt it.
Also, this wouldn't have had to happen if the two of them weren't such obstinate, stubborn little shits to each other. If they worked their shit out before the end of the school day, she wouldn't have lagged behind like that, lost in thought. Though, at the same time, I thought they were mostly beyond this sort of petty shit, but I guess since it's about her birthday, it's a bigger deal than the usual petty shit they have friction over but Chitoge lets go pretty readily lately.
