Also reading on Frieren lifted the curse on the whole valley so I think the mage was saved too. As for other victims of Macht and honestly even the townspeople I'm not even sure if they can still be saved. After all, decades for mortals can change a lot...

I agree, this arc doesn't feel nearly as strong as previous arcs, but it's still pretty enjoyable because it has Denken
