I’m sad that they don’t seem to be trying to do more to combat the losing memories like writing down a timeline of event or bringing up the gaps in memories. I also assume that such things wouldn’t work since they aren’t showing such attempts and showing them fail would probably be pretty depressing. It seems like she has forgotten she was going to start forgetting things which I usually feel like is the last hope for transitioning from having lost all memories to making new ones smoothly.

I'd say collect it. Story remains great even up to it's current chapters (about 30 ahead).

I suspect that the memorial thing (either the notes or video) will hit Xiao Lan with huge guilty because she forget about Maria entirely. remember back then Xiao Hei said that Xiao Lan is very sensitive? even if her friends (plus Maria) assure her that isn't her fault, she still feeling very guilty anyway. so that's why Maria choose to move out and try to start building her relationship with Xiao Lan again from zero point.....
