That was mature behavior, to say good bye and move elsewhere, to get over it for good. She's an adventurer, and an orphan to boot, so it's not like she would have anything in particular tying her to that particular town.

Characters growing and not sticking around is good to see. That means we get to see their development, but they also don't stay and clog up the character roster too much. Too many series just keep the cast growing because they're afraid of letting go, which only means most of them are going to sit on the sidelines and most likely only become shallow stereotypes when they get their one line to say.

IMO this is one of the more appropriate not over the top story in the series considering the premise of the series of ex-assassin becoming a guild employee.

Yeah, it's not overly dramatic or so spectacular it loses authenticity.

The manga is changing the story from the novels unless I remember wrong or at least I don't remember the flashback like that, in the novel he was the one who killed her father.

How the hell has what's his name not been fired and jailed yet? 56 adventurers is not a small number, that's also 56 accounts of creeping, stalking and probably other crimes like attempted sexual assault like at the mixer when he had to be put to sleep.

I may not be a huge fan of the consensual cheating thing this main couple has going on, but I still appreciate the existence of a functional romance between them in this story.

That said, for a harem fantasy I'm quite surprised that one girl was completely rejected from joining his (currently) 4-girl harem. After all, many readers would say, what's one more? That said, it is quite the novelty to see, even though it's not the wish-fulfilling turn of events. I just wish he told her the truth about her almost getting raped that night, that would at least have taught her a lesson not to be so careless in the woods. She didn't really learn anything about becoming a better adventurer from her time with him, it's just some closure for them both.

On another note, that prick Morley is still working in the guild even after he harassed 50+ female adventurers into moving away? He's clearly bad for business and nowhere near as competent as the MC is and he keeps his job? Unbelievable.

Honestly I wouldn't even call it that. She very much so thinks like a demon- "might makes right, it's only natural a woman before a superior male submits, etc". By her own nature she probably sees Loran more like a male Lion forming his own pride with those that recognize his "superiority" and is instinctually okay with it so long as everyone knows she's at the top of the pecking order. Loran on the other hand... is Loran. The guy just probably doesn't have a singular concept of what a relationship looks like, monagamous or polyamorous.
