the manga is definitely the sweetest out of the three mediums even though overall I do prefer the LN over the manga. The anime's lack of fluid facial expression and body language made a lot of key scenes and otherwise wholesome moments fall flat compared to the manga

One of the LN's strengths is its writing. It's especially great in describing the situation while also explaining Amane's and Mahiru's thoughts. Definitely let my imagination run wild. This is something that is missing from the anime; they are doing 'show, don't tell' (which is good), but, unfortunately, they're not showing enough. The manga takes another route by making Mahiru and Amane more expressive, hence why it feels like Mahiru's becomes sweeter and Amane is more expressive. It makes the anime feel boring.

The LN illustrations also give me a different impression! Especially the changes from Vol 1 to the later volume. I'm a big fan of Kazutake Hazano's art style (Saint Cecilia, The Fairytale-like you), especially with how sweet Mahiru looks (yes, I have a sweet spot for tareme eyes, how did you know?). However, Hanekoto's art fits the characterisation better by making Mahiru looks 'colder', especially during the early volume. Also, Hanekoto can draw more than six faces, unlike Hazano.

Damn no wonder why I feel that sometimes Cecilia and Mahiru look similar!

It is very similar in the first volume! The second volume onward looks more different because Hanekoto drew her more 'colder'.

Oh, also, compare Mahiru (Vol 1), Cecilia, and Kagami, and they're (almost) interchangeable. I swear Hazano can only draw six faces. I still love his art style though. Very fluffy.

I really REALLY hope this continues without any kind of drama, stupid, contrived, or otherwise.

I'm bummed that all these images are broken now. I have no idea what you were showing off. So many comments threads in various manga where images are broken like this, it's sad.

Anyway, I appreciate the work you and the rest of Crab bars have been doing.
I get that this is how they relase it on the japanese side, but I'd honestly prefer to not get these chapters in split form, it hurts the pacing.
Personally, I wouldn't mind waiting until all four parts of each chapter release in Japanese before uploading, but we are in the minority. It would mean uploading a chapter only once every 2–3 months, and we'd instantly get sniped after not releasing the first part of the chapter
For me it doesn't really matter. As long as I get to read, I'm not complaining.
I'm currently just catching up/binging, but I feel like I'd end up waiting awhile once I'm fully caught up before I start reading things, anyway. I also suspect I'll re-read a whole chapter or two to refresh my memory when I do decide to check out newly-posted chapters. For me, at least, this seems the best way to approach a manga that's still ongoing.

I'd rather just read fully completed and translated works, but in this case it's not really possible. I usually like knowing there's a conclusion to be had before I even start reading or watching something (gotten burned on it way too much in the past), but sometimes I can't help it, especially if an anime got me hooked on characters (as weak as the anime has been compared to the manga, it was still good enough to get me to like Amane and Mahiru's relationship and want to see more).
