Would've been so much better if he resurrected the Wyvern, took on a tremendous amount of pain because of the rebound, and woke up half-way to Jioral Kingdom after the girls had helped him onto the Wyvern so they could get started flying there.

Not really, that would have just dragged on the story even more and Keyaru has pain resistance, so using Heal doesn't knock him unconscious anymore and he doesn't revive heal either. Get over it or write your own damn manga story or whatever.

He pulls "ancient knowledge" from the void being saved by influences outside the immediate setting, using a single wyvern corpse to fashion an aircraft that carries the 5 people.
