That's a nice thing about stories like this.
The MC is really powerful, maybe the most powerful character we've met so far, but none of the others are pushovers. His sister is a powerful swordmage, the princess also a powerful mage, her attendant a master (mistress?) of the sword, Nana ripped a major demonic beast apart with her bare hands. The emperor is obviously both powerful and shrewd, as you'd expect from someone of his status.
Nobody has the stupid stick. Even the villains are somewhat capable and clever, with their schemes mainly being disrupted by the MC's unexpected power and his knowledge of some of the future allowing him to build up allies who were slain in the original timeline.
