I like the focus on observing where people are cutting tiles from their hand, I feel like this isn't discussed much in mahjong series but it seems like a very powerful tool if people fall into patterns like this. Thanks for the chapter!

Yep, you definitely have to take this into account in real life and scramble your tiles a little.

Interesting that Mamiya now acknowledges 70 perv as a good guy. I wonder how this is going to evolve, but we're back in Mamiya's more sympathetic perspective. I'm expecting some nice moves.

Yeah I feel like Mamiya already knew that he was a good guy but just decided to keep up the disrespectful act to throw him off his game. As she said mahjong without shrewdness isn't mahjong to her.

Also earlier osamu mentioned how seventy perv didn't immediately pounce onto the opportunity to sleep with Mamiya like the other people she played in the past has, when she's done this act.

If I am recalling correctly, Akagi caught a guy's wait by the fact that he kept checking his tiles on the left, where the manzu would usually be in a default sorted hand. It's the only time i can recall something like that happening in a Mahjong Fukumoto work. It should really be used more often, unless the idea is that the tiles are sorted more for the reader's convenience rather.
