I dont rly grasp it either but i think Sensei became Chroma or what Chroma is and instead of Shiroko this time its Hoshino, and both of em travelling across other timeline or universe to find Yume.

Either way it's a nice alternate story for Sensei, since Chroma existence implied that theres countless Sensei and Chroma itself is still a mystery.

I'm pretty sure this sensei is consumed by the chroma like Phrenapates but instead of taking in Kuroko as sensei's herald, she took in Hoshino and they're invading other worlds in search of Yume
