Just saw the post on "the monster girl i saved" and wanted to add something...rant ahead and it'll be long.
For the love of all that's fuzzy, DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR NOT GOING FAST!
Yes, we all want to see the series, see what's next and more - it's natural to be impatient especially when it's a good story. And willingly, I willingly admit - i wanna see if they show the squid lady's big boobs, MMM.
BUT.
Unlike most - you're translating properly, I don't have to translate "from english to english" as most "translations" seem to say they're doing. They're not finished translations. There's literally, 1000's of manga, manhua and more (on mangadex alone) and out there, let alone anime, and more to spend your time on. It will not kill anyone to wait for this to be done right.
And if this, among other stories are done wrong - who goes back to fix them? NOONE.
Please, for the love of all that's jiggly, take your time, or as much time as you need (not half a year, but, you know, if it's the diff between a day and a week, take a week) and do the work PROPERLY so we all can enjoy the series...and the author/artists get the respect they deserve..rather then crapping all over the work and pretending it's "Translated" when noone can tell what's going on, let alone chat bubbles on the wrong character, "I" when it's actually "you" etc etc. "He says" when referring to a chick with giant boobs..it's.. maddening, and pathetic.
You're doing good, if people are impatient to have PROPER TRANSLATIONS OF GOOD STORIES... and can't be patient like adults, let alone kids above the age of 4.
Well, Tough. They can buy the book themselves, and use a google translate app, and try and figure it out from that gibberish. I may be in the minority here, and admittedly not donating anything but my opinion (Not that i can afford to to be fair..hate being poor) but.
For what it's worth.
To see a story, translated properly, that i don't have to flip and guess each bubble of who the heck is talking, let alone about who, or see names turn into gibberish between bubbles not even one page later/a diff spelling that has no context of the story.
Do it right the first time, rather than wrong and ruin the story.
They want more - BECAUSE you're dong it right, at least with this one.. and that's something to be a little proud of, but please, for the love of jiggly squid takotitties (had to make a joke)..
Don't speed up, if it's going to ruin the quality of the work/make it illegible and ruin the story for everyone else. Speed means NOTHING if it's not done right at said speed, and few, nowadays, if at all - are doing it right without mistakes.
Thank you for what your doing, don't give in, and if you're too impatient to wait for a story, and would rather gibberish - and to ruin it for everyone else (by giving in or endorsing hard to read stories that aren't actually english) - well, you shouldn't be reading then. Nor should your opinion be valued.
Thank you for sticking with the story, and the few of us perverts who wanna see her big su..no more jokes. Please don't give in and ruin stories because of some morons. Thank you for your time.
I've posted this on a few other groups (not as praise, but admonishment, or for those who don't get it, giving them a slap tot he face to wake up at them crapping all over good stories in the interest of "speed" and failed "translations" (calling it a translation would be a compliment)) and i've seen enough +1's and stuff to know...that people, at least a few, appreciate it being done right regardless of the time we have to wait. Food for thought.
