I think what she means is that they aren't her direct family, and since she's the one that came from the future, directly meddling with the past of her own family has a higher risk of causing time paradoxes.

Time travel is the worst plot device for any manga/anything because its would left many thing unexplained.
I just hope this manga would not take turn to something fighting god later on because its also the worst plot that can happen, i already read manga, manhwa thats became boring because of this.
