If you read the raws (and I know you did because you said so) that's fine but please stop posting pseudo spoilers ("hint hint nudge nudge" type of comments) without a spoiler tag. It ruins the fun for other people.

I've read the whole manga too but you don't see me here telling people what's going to happen or what they should think, because it's not fun to do that.

Yeah, exactly. I haven't read the raws but even hinting at the direction the story can take is a spoiler on its own. Not cool.

Also, looks like Messiah-chan (or Merrin-chan) already has the most important horror protagonist trait: A complete obliviousness to danger

The website being called "News Babel" is kind of interesting, since there's a double-meaning there.
On one hand "babel" usually means gibberish, which fits with the erroneous character encoding (mojibake).
On the other hand there's the religious connotations of hubris and divine punishment (Tower of Babel), which seems relevant to the story.
