As for the Archduke, even if he is powerful, not wanting all of possible strength to fight off the enemy is just plain stupid. His pride of not wanting help from the kingdom they're a vassal of can and might kill his people.
What I'm hoping to happen is that the MC will come to help, but not completely curbstomp solo. He and the Archduke should team-up and work together to defeat the enemy force once and for all. This way, it will show the Archduke just because you're strong and powerful doesn't mean you can take it alone.

In the unthinkable case he can't and Kreis is killed along with her forces, it would be about the time to relieve Cold of his responsibilities and someone with a new way of thinking to take over. If Cold gets the reinforcements annihilated in the first battle, who's going to place their trust in him anymore? Certainly no one from Stromheim. But let's wait and see. Maybe he really can be everywhere at the same time.

No matter how quickly they come to try and save you, you are dead. You have at most 3 meters to the oders that are surrounding you, and not much further to the one you described as immune to magic. So you have no chance to have them arrive in time before you have been bitten and properly infected. Or killed.
Considering how he has space manipulating magic, it is actually possible he might be able to teleport between all 3. Her issue is that she asked for help from akira instead.
