I am really enjoying the growing party but I’m curious how long this run will last. With the whole premise being about Albus’s reset powers, I’m curious to see how long it will take to get to the next restart and what it will mean for the members.

Gina is the fourth member we’ve encountered of the ten companions introduced in Chapter 6. Interestingly, two side characters in the previous loop, Wirrel (the mercenary captain in Chapter 2) and Marius (the hermit in Chapter 4) also travelled with Albus in prior runs.

I guess the golden route of saving Fiona will probably require Albus to gather all ten of his past companions plus the super secret character, Zealark, in the same attempt (assuming no other new characters are introduced). Since Wirrel seems to have been skipped this time, I assume this isn’t going to be “the run.”

I initially thought this is going to be a fun typical read. But after the reveal in chapter 8 and the subsequent chapters, this is a great read. With a lot hearts in the story.

He was skipped in the sense that he didn’t join the party as a companion in this current cycle. Granted, he might be encountered again on this run but the group seems to have already moved past where he was encountered in the previous life.

Honestly unless this loop ends, we can't say for sure. I mean, Lauro was encountered in a completely unexpected place that threw Albus off guard. And as a mercenary group that travels around, it wouldn't be surprising if Albus met him further in.
