It's a shame it had to end here, clearly there's so much more of the world and lore to explore :(

But thanks for bringing it to English anyway!

You fully translated it! :win:

I look forward to when Shonen Flop picks it up for an episode.

Thanks for all you do, and I look forward to whatever the team takes on next!

So this was definitely axed, right? Phew... I get the impression there's a lot more to the story than what's here, and this is just the best he could cook up in crunch time. The overall concept is intriguing. I like Mirai, even if a good portion of that comes down to her design, but other than her, the other characters are just sort of there.

It feels like the character of the professor needed revising or polishing. Like, that's the crux. The other characters I'll just put down to the author having little time to explore their quirks and motivations.

There was a decent amount of potential here, but that's the way it goes. At least the ending left me with a warm feeling.

I am curious, though, what the originally ending was intended to be?
Like, obviously due to the length, the author was unable to fully realize the story he wanted to tell.
But obviously, there were a couple of things that he wanted to expand on. The Church, for example, what happens to them?
Why exactly does the world keep repeating? Why did she get shot at the end of the last chapter? Will he still try to shoot her now? What happens to the two of them now, does the people still try to kill em? How did that journal last, considering they explicitly state that journals don't hold up for that amount of time early in the story?

So many questions!

The mangaka’s really got some terrible luck to have every series end with an axe.
I’m just glad his next series is relatively successful

Noooooo, man this was really entertaining. Why does random isekai #7467 get 200 chapters, but this only gets enough to tell half the story.

I believe it has something to do with Aliens, when Mirai spotted a shadow of the alien and must have something to do with the time loop, but that is never going to be explored as the series was cancelled.

Which series are you talking about, if you do not mind me asking?

The series we are talking about is 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. The first Summer Comiket arc is the biggest allusion to the idea, but you can tell by the art that there's some relationship. That and there are only so many assistants to Oda out there making manga...

Again this is just a rumor, although both series almost have a similar art style and probably just a coincidence, we are not sure if both Ikezawa Haruto and Yu Hashimoto are the same person and its not confirmed.

I found a webpage that goes over all of the major points of the argument. To wit, it’s basically

1. Eyes are drawn similarly, with the line under the eyes being curved a little upwards

2. Legs in both series are drawn similarly, especially the lines on the knees

3. Several ononomotapeia in both series are drawn similarly

4. There are similar drawing errors (the second chapter of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction has Lilysa wear an outfit whose details change from panel to panel, and apparently these continuity errors match other Ikezawa series)
5. Noah's Notes ended in August 2018, and 2.5 Dimensional Seduction started ten months later. It makes sense chronologically
6. Ikezawa-sensei's brother-in-law has a Twitter account, and in 2019 tweeted that his brother-in-law was doing a new series with a different art style, including one now-deleted tweet that outright links to the series

7. There is absolutely no information about Yu Hashimoto online. None. As if he just dropped out of the sky.
8. While his series was running in Jump, Ikezawa made a ton of negative comments about other manga in Jump (shitting on Medaka Box, saying Reborn should be axed, that To Love Ru fans would be bullied today). Many think he also changed his name to escape those controversies.

While not listed on the webpage, I can think of two other pieces of evidence:
9. An arc of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction focuses on a mangaka whose only work in Weekly Jump flopped, and chose to work on a spinoff of a more popular manga using a pen name. It's not identical per se, but it definitely has the same energy as Ikezawa-sensei
10. Haruto Ikezawa is confirmed to have previously been an assistant to Eiichiro Oda, author of One Piece. Oda previously wrote recommendations for Akane-Banashi (drawn by Takamasa Moue, who was previously confirmed to be an assistant for Oda) and Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi (whose author, Shoichi Usui, explained in volume 1 that he was also an assistant and asked Oda to recommend him). And wouldn't you know it, 2.5D volume 8 had an obi recommendation from Oda
