(Also just as a suggestion, when the dragon type is specified, it would be simpler for reader as “western dragon/ Chinese dragon” rather then “dragon(竜) / dragon (龍). Personally I forget which are which very quickly )

I did have this idea while working on this chapter! It does work in most cases but I hesitated because it felt like it could get somewhat wordy/awkward in other dialogue (chapter 2, page 3, Lycoris' line) since the meaning is more implicit, hmm... perhaps, a case-by-case basis? I'll see what I can do and make the changes later today.

Okay, I was really confused about who bit who initially. That single panel seemed to swap the color(?) palettes used for each character and broke the 180° rule from the previous page.

I might be the only person who thought about it, but I thought the text in the fake language looked like it said SEX and wondered if the mangaka did that deliberately.

As it turns out, it’s actually a character brush, though it does tell us that the mangaka uses MediBang as her illustration software of choice. Very inside baseball, I know, but felt like a neat little discovery given I started with the thought “haha sex joke”
