is the implication that she might be pregnant? or is trying to avoid pregnancy? (she mentions taking medicine and is feeling better)
I'm a Yami simp myself, just cracking a joke. I also wish people wouldn't be so invested on shitting on flawed characters.
No, she says it's just her period, so she's popped some e.g. Midol and is trying to hang in there through held breath and gritted teeth until they take effect: Cramps be like that sometimes.is the implication that she might be pregnant? or is trying to avoid pregnancy? Highly unlikely, she barely remembered him from highschool right?alright guys hear me out, what if she actually had a crush on him the entire time
Bruh, for now he is just being nice. Just like any normal people would do.Sigh...
Kinda hope this all blows up in his face so he can learn not to immediately go into 'simp mode' just because a girl tells him a sob story.
But I get the feeling the author is hell bent on redeeming the snake somehow.![]()
Yami or Hebi aren't really all that interesting and complex characters, they just look like it because they are put in at first glance very simple fluffy romance manga. They're just edgy bitchy teenagers with 'tude, like Poochie "My planet needs me" from Simpsons.I wonder if there has been any studies on why writers and readers of entertainment have given up on flawed characters. It's like people have drifted away from characters that have many sides to them. Is it because it is easier to write a flat boring character who appeals to the majority because the majority see themselves as bland? Is it people aren't taught how to write complex characters or interpret them. Does it boil down to liking the cute girl/handsome guy just because they act nice; a.k.a. switching your brain off. A decrease in face-to-face in person communication... so many questions.
People throw around words like bitch, evil, cruel, hoe, slut to describe female characters they don't like without really knowing the meaning of those words.
I just like characters like Yami or Hebi because they take something boring and make it interesting.

What do you mean by the characters you mentioned taking something boring and make it interesting?? Whats so interesting about them? Being an asshole?I wonder if there has been any studies on why writers and readers of entertainment have given up on flawed characters. If I wanted real complex characters, I'd rewatch Death Parade or Haibane Reimei. Even Madoka has better edgy characters than Yami or Hebi
Am I the only one that thinks that the mangaka fucked up by calling the series after Kusunoki? They clearly have way more plot ideas for Hebikawa to the point Kusunoki feels like a secondary character in her own manga right now. Even if she's the designated winner, not calling the manga after her would have made things less weird currently.
We know he does like Kusunoki already don’t we? At this point the ball is more in Kusunoki’s court to let him know she feels the same.Yes, people coming from dysfunctional families tend to be dysfunctional human beings. The author will probably pull a "I can fix her!" and eventually make the MC have to choose between the 2 FMCs. I just hope it doesn't get boring.
Don’t mention that trash series with this oneYami fans took a loss on Monday but snake girl fans took a win on Saturday huh
Thanks for the translation
Kusunoki is the one that helps MC with his issues, not Hebikawa. It is true that Kusunoki doesn’t seem like the biggest focal point, but that’s because the focus is on MC, and the antagonist is Hebikawa so there has to be a good amount of focus on her as well if what MC is going to have to get past is her.Am I the only one that thinks that the mangaka fucked up by calling the series after Kusunoki?
