Idk pretend "gameplay" where they just pull new skills with unknown cost and cooldown out of their ass are pretty boring
This is like watching yugioh and they just keep materializing new cards when they are needed
How does this crit shit work anyway? Who gives a fuck if the guy is buffed he took a bullet to the head?
How is it fair that these dudes can literally fly anyway the fuck kind of game balance is that???
Crits are hits on character weakpoints (mostly head/heart) from what i understood it from previous chapters which can be protected by armor though (since they are wearing full armor with helmet, any hits that do not manage to penetrate said armor can't deal crit damage as was seen in crims fight against that one boss or the other player in the first party pvp match.
There is no matchmake PvP where player gear is taken into account and there does not seem to be a level system (players learn new skills either from quests, buying skillbooks, interact with event npcs or get them from gear they found) so there is no real balance outside of matching players against each other based on their rating that depends on their win/losses in previous matches.
They can not fly, they have a sort of grappling hook which is either an item/tool they found/bought, or part of their player race (of which there are dozens each with their own unique advantages and disadvantages)
about pulling skills out of their a**es : i think there would be more complaints if they spend dozens of chapters infodumping the build of every player they encounter and why/how they got their skills/gears.....
