I have a feeling that when we get to the end or near the end. The target in question might just straight up kill themselves to deny Karma or her step dad any sort of satisfaction. And there might be some satisfaction in driving them to off themselves but it will be far from the perfect revenge they wanted. He'll always from then on never be able to feel true satisfaction because he failed. There would be one little chink in his and Karma's masterpiece and that could very well drive him crazy and make him die in immense hatred.
