He screams no, 99% someone tank the fist through their chest. How they are fast enough go between the 2 but still slow enough to to not pull zuiji out of the way? Just trope thing.

I wonder about that too. I hope it's not Zuiji, he's one of my favorite disciple, although I have to admit killing one of the inner disciples would be a bold move from the author.
