the rumor was that hochan messed around w a girl before and then ran off to the military for a bit before coming back as president of the business administration's student council. haedam keeps being mentioned bc apparently she's similar to that girl (in terms of stature and lack of dating experience). if u want a refresher, check chapter 52!

probably not any real proof. in chapter 78, hochan thinks to himself that the rumors were all fake, so the rumor is most likely fabricated or greatly exaggerated. afterwards, jihyuk calls a woman (who seems to be an alumni at their college) and arranges a meet up btwn her and hochan. we don't see what their conversation is, but it seems like she and hochan have some history. whatever they talked about, it was enough to convince hochan that he needed to cut off haedam. it'll probably be revealed later on 😺
