Won't say backstabbing, but more outdated. Her memory of martial art are all pre-marriage, with most of it only regarding her family. She just got out of jail & have no way to keep up to date. I doubt "how to secret Martial art society" work well on Google/baidu/whichever site they use.
In more layman term, she turn to her family because it's the nearest source. It it doesn't work, she will have to find other. This just happened to be the first one. Doesn't help that no one talk & it turn physical right away.

Won't say backstabbing, but more outdated. Her memory of martial art are all pre-marriage, with most of it only regarding her family. She just got out of jail & have no way to keep up to date. I doubt "how to secret Martial art society" work well on Google/baidu/whichever site they use.

this would actually be true if it wasn't her family's fault to begin with for her being in the fukken prison lol, did you even read? she was literally sold out by her family.... & at the point she already knew her son was a martial artist & despite knowing both of this points instead of trusting her own son, she rather went to her "family" who betrayed her in the past & landed her, her husband in the prison and left her own son parentless to fend for himself basically for majority of his childhood... so don't give me that bs about her not knowing & shit, cuz SHE KNEW VERY WELL & she's not a moron either not in that regard, so she knows how the world of martial arts work as it worked the same before as it does now, the only thing that changes over time is who's in charge pretty much aka power shifting, nothing else.
