He doesn't seem to recognize that him mom is dead. She probably died either during or shortly after giving birth. I doubt he knew he had a sixth sense before Taya. Hell, I doubt he realizes he has it now, considering most of the things he has run into all have bodies.

Probably since she's been dead and he's been talking to her ghost since he was a child.

I just can't imagine how I would react if my estranged son returns home and tries to have a conversation with someone who is not physcially present because she has been dead for years.

Like does Haru's father just resigned himself that his son still acts deluded?

So he's probably in denial about her being dead to this day due to subconscious guilt induced by his dad's blaming of him, and Dad may at least believe that his son is deluding himself into seeing and interacting with Mom due to said blaming, thus why he only shakes his head and acts more melancholic than angry about the whole thing (he's feeling guilty for causing his son's "condition").
