the story was a bit silly from the beginning, became pretty dumb with himaris actions that made no sense.
But these last few chapters are just a dumpsterfire, nothing really makes sense here as no human being would have strains of thoughts as outlandish and nonsensical as this.

Himari is friend, they promise to not catch feelings for each other when young.
they grow up.

Himari likes Mc, but decides to add another girl into the picture??? Pushes Mc to become conscious of both her and another girl at the same time, male friend notices all of this. tries to push the other girl into the spotlight to make himari fess up about her bullshit.

Himari flips out, becomes hoslite and gaslights/manipulates MC so hard that he comes crawling in front of her, ready to literally destroy his future for a girl who treated him like shit because she was upset by the obvious directions her actions were pushing MC into.

I guess there are more details but this is literally all the interpersonal relationships have amounted to here

long story short.

when they first met, she helped him on a whim without asking. making him meet his quota and setting him on the part of a accessory maker.

her brother got mad at her, making her take responsibility and support him with it. she at the time didnt think much of it and declared no romance.

as years goes by she starts falling for him. then starts panicking and unreasonable when she saw signs of him leaving her.

he however is still holding steadfast on that promise of no romance. which she probably forgot. so everytime he tries to keep himself in check. she gets sad/frustrated/unreasonable because she got rejected.

basically she shot her foot and still dont know why walking hurts.
