Finally a calm thread, where some readers with their eyes closed only left. Yuu knows the real deal is. Promise are meant to be broken, so the promise of not falling in love are irrelevant. Himari pretty much aware of her actions. In conclusion, chapter 33 is sweet and funny overall.

Yes, make her suffer. With that personality I don't mind mc cucking her with someone else.
The manga is about to begin adapting volume 2 of the novel series. Who knows if something akin to that might be waiting on the other side?

Me. I know. Fufufu.

long story short.

when they first met, she helped him on a whim without asking. making him meet his quota and setting him on the part of a accessory maker.

her brother got mad at her, making her take responsibility and support him with it. she at the time didnt think much of it and declared no romance.

as years goes by she starts falling for him. then starts panicking and unreasonable when she saw signs of him leaving her.

he however is still holding steadfast on that promise of no romance. which she probably forgot. so everytime he tries to keep himself in check. she gets sad/frustrated/unreasonable because she got rejected.

basically she shot her foot and still dont know why walking hurts.
Also remember how she pushed Enomoto and MC together as much as possible while also coming onto him, also I am pretty sure she didn't forget the romance promise since that is like a major plot point throughout this whole debacle before the new model incident.

Now if we try to see why then she wanted to play the "the long game" it seems while also having him get close to a girl so that he can choose her in the end instead?(honestly her actions don't make any sense). She also talks a lot about wanting that "passionate gaze" in his eyes to be directed at her, attention seeking shit like that.

I also just remember we had that scene a few chapters ago where she admits to manipulating others by acting hurt, major red flag.
She's is a manipulative narcicisst that needs affirmation that is also kinda stupid in her way of getting things.

Now MC, he is just plain stupid, all of this only works because MC lets himself be outdone by her antics, genuinely all of the problems could have been solved by him putting on the big boy pants and just asking wtf is wrong with her.
It is actually painful seeing how dumb he is, bro was too scared to ask "If you really want to be friends why do you do this?" but had no problem quitting school and running after her to the big city with no money and no place to live organized.

It's bad, but I can't stop skimming the chapters just to see what random reason did the author came up with.

If I was his dad and knew my son was as stupid as MC, I would've disowned him and let him chase her (we know that he's gonna become homeless).

Are you actually reading with open eyes? Or just biases for not liking a character. She supports Yuu for Enemoto because her pushes wasn't enough for both of them to realize the love that they developed over the years of friendship. Everyone needs a catalyst for something to develop.

The "passionate seeking" seems you know the meaning of it but you're annoyed because it wasn't the other girl. BIAS

Her manipulative antics? Finally, feels like girl in real life not some generic anime girls. Also the fact that she's still have conscience about her acts and still tells the truth in the end is the sign of good characterization.

MC didn't fall for small antics but a major one which actually affect him in the long run, so that doesn't make him that stupid. Why would he question her for something they always do for years? Plus she supports him that just increases his debt for her.
Be honest you just hate a healthy friendship, the fact that this is just their first major fight for many years shows how deep their bond is.

Wdym like girls in real life? Healthy friendship? Are we reading the same story over here? No sane woman tries to cuck herself when she's not even in a relationship and gets upset about it. She's also just genuienly is not a good person, lying and crying to get what you want from people is manipulative. The Older brother and Enomoto are the only "good" characters here, I can agree that Himari and MC are entertaining tho, there drama stems from their interactions with each other.

"Wdym" I guess you didn't read the first paragraph. Yep healthy they've been friends for YEARS. You have a problem in separating the sentences context.

I mean good CHARACTERIZATION not a good character in general but your examples sucks(one-dimensional righteous person and one-dimensional generic anime girl)

Am I the only one who thinks this story makes no sense?
Yeah. At this point they could've confessed as normal. But I guess the author will try to delay that as long as possible with delulu thoughts and misunderstandings to uphols the manga title.

I predict the moment the confession actually happened, the manga will end soon after. Or hopefully the author could make an actual story after they start going out. Like Uzaki, Komi, etc. That'd be cool to see.

Feels like the hate to Himari has gone too far in these comments. It wasn't that bad guys, jeez. Let these idiots figure out their feelings and enjoy the weird displays of affection

Alright. I see the symbolism the author wants to put up and how he wants the story to go, but he really had to FUCK IT ALL UP? if it's about 2 friends that learn to accept they love eachother, why put all that unnecessary drama in between? If since the fucking start all we had was them 2 and another, more coherent and even nicer way of them learning love, it would have been such a great manga about why boy girl friendships don't work. But author had to twist the story and previous statements and add shit above then try and make us dig it as if it was all ok. "Uh look I put their friendship choker broken to symbolise that their friendship is falling apart but to open room for love!!" BASTARD!!! WHY DO IT THAT WAY THEN!?
