Ngl i liked the story but i wonder where the story could go if it became a full blown manga, their romance? Their love for kendo? How society treats man and woman differently? There are a lot of things this story could do but i struggle to see a clear direction

Very true. But I feel like the point to this was that they both had the most fun fighting without any of the norms and rules attached. No care for gender or rules, keep fighting until the sword breaks just going ham

I kinda get what you're saying, but "without norms and rules attached" is probably too far since it could include excessive violence which neither of them does (I almost thought she did that after seeing the master though, haha ).
