Since I know no Japanese, this might be totally wrong. But when the MC sees a magical teleport, does it not sound strange for him to say "Coordinates."?

In the raws, the author uses 座標 which is literally "coordinates". I can't remember back far enough to remember if that's what he's called it in the past, but I don't think there's any other way of wording it to be fair.

This is something you put on a TL note at the end, same on the explanation why the TP circle got called "coordinates".

Then I would spend half of my time writing TL comments for the 19 different series we do. I could maybe see the point in explaining the Bishop's name, as a fun fact, but the use of coordinates is just that. Literally translated. What would you say about it?

Just came from reading Welcome to Japan, Elf-san, and when I saw the MC on the title page, I wondered if I was still reading the same manga.

Artist could at least tilt the box pattern on his hat to be in line with the vertical lines.

So the Holy Order is a an assassins' guild who acts like common raiders. Got it.

And then they kill people for calling them out. Such heroes. Much respect.

And then they can't even fight the monsters they claim they're supposed to fight.

"Portal" would work, as it's pretty multifunctional.

The correct term would be "teleport destination focus" , given the magitech, but then the typesetter would probably start twitching and stroking his Voodoo Dolls again...
