however if animals were to evolve to be bipedal and intelligent, more human then its natural humans will be outclassed

Presuming I didn't misunderstand your comment, I mean, yeah? Isn't that the point of the story's main premise?
The understanding of "regular humans" being superior to other animals due to humans being smarter compared to other animals is what the story wants to flip. What if animals are able to act as if they're "regular humans"? Where does the line start to blur between "human" and "animal"?
And your final point doesn't make sense since humans are already discriminated in the story.
