I agree with everyone’s consensus, the execution of the this arc has been really unsatisfactory. I’m not going to reiterate the reasons because they’ve already been mentioned but Jesus Christ, so many things just could have been written so much better.

Anyways, Jean Blacks is still best girl and a top-tier design, so there’s that.

Also, yes, this definitely felt like it could have been a manga ending chapter. But I’m assuming this’ll be the end of the volume.

The main issue with this arc is that
for the most part the villains are portrayed as FODDER ENEMIES

The only one who was portrayed as an actual threat was the commander yet he's only focused on ONCE by the Crimson Fang Girl
which is why her arc feels lackluster.
