Im always confused by medieval (and modern) army drill. How do they practice without hurting each other? Here it looks like if one side win, the other should... Be dead or retreating? They shouldn't have spidol to tag enemies, right?

Aegir is the type that leads by doing things himself. Though he has proper education and is not stupid, he performs much better as a force of nature rather than controlling troops. So Celia acting as his deputy really helps offloading that burden
