Personally I don't have an issue with this arc, sensei's backstory needed to be fleshed out somehow. But it does feel too "small" stakes, considering the setting. The past has otherworldly summoning, monster-girl experimentation, huge wars, but now they're just in a teacher's office staring at typewriters and trying to get one old man his teacher job back. Needs to pick up the action.

I get that they’re throwing this stuff in to make it a serious scene, but honestly, it just feels nasty. The villain isn’t interesting at all, and Washio’s acting like that… Honestly, I just ended up thinking: what’s even fun about this?
It’s not engaging. There’s nothing more boring than a serious scene that doesn’t land.
And it’s not like this is just for a few episodes either, it looks like it’s gonna drag on for a while… Seriously, it’s just not fun. I’ll be on standby until they finally get written off.

I do want to see the fluffy, lovey-dovey stuff, I really do! But I also believe that sweetness truly shines because of the drama it takes to get there. That’s why I’m here to savor the story the author has carefully crafted, and I’m looking forward to that exquisite sweetness waiting beyond the hardships. Also, to be honest, stories that are just sweet and flat all the way through start to feel a bit like too much of a good thing, so I personally love when the serious parts get explored in depth! So please, dear author, go with whatever flow you think is best!

All these comments complaining about how the villain isn’t interesting or how the pacing is slow… seriously, I’m just baffled.
People are perfectly capable of leaving warm messages for authors who go on indefinite hiatus (sometimes never coming back), but then they turn around and harshly criticize an author who’s consistently putting out updates? Come on.
It’s not like the manga has suddenly changed direction or anything. If what you want is a lighthearted isekai rom-com with no serious moments, there are tons of those out there. There’s no need to cling to this one.

て解き明かしたストーリーはなくストーリー展開はまだ進行形なので、このエピソードが今進行速度なら180日以上続くかもしれないということ一つのエピソードに6ヶ月間事件事故だけが積もっていくので不便を感じているようです... 面白いマンガに良くない反応も見えて悲しいがある程度共感はできます...

It’s been 120 days since Drako first appeared, and up to this current episode. In those 120 days, the pacing has been slow, with no real story developments resolved, and the plot is still ongoing.
At this pace, this arc might end up lasting over 180 days. With six months of just incidents and accidents piling up in a single storyline, it’s understandable that some readers are starting to feel frustrated... It’s sad to see negative responses toward such a great manga, but I can somewhat sympathize with where they're coming from...
Still, let’s all believe in the author and keep supporting them! ^^

重くなっている。(暗すぎる)
(この漫画を見る大半の購読者の方々は鷲尾先生とモンスター娘たちの甘いラブストーリーを期待してみるため) この部分で購読者の方々の不快指数が大きく上がるようだ。
事件事故はあるけど、ちょっと軽く済ませて
新しいモンスター娘たちの登場に移ったらよかったと思う

3. キャラクターの能力が疑われる部分 エルフ級の知性と生まれつきの身体能力を持つエリートモンスター娘たちが薬品教師1人に簡単に洗脳された点

この作品を初めて見た時、雰囲気がなくなるのが
本当に残念だよ.. ラブコメディ 70の事件事故30くらいの割合でいったらどうだったかと思います..
この漫画の重点は重くて暗い事件事故によって得られる快感より燃尾先生とモンスター娘たちのラブストーリー及び小さな事件事故解決
新しいモンスター娘たちの登場とときめきで
行ったほうが良かったかも..

Why are people reacting negatively?

1. The villain isn't compelling.
   (There’s no clear reason behind his actions, which makes him hard to understand or care about.)
2. The story has gotten much heavier compared to a typical rom-com.
   (It’s gotten too dark.)
   Most readers came into this manga expecting a sweet love story between Washio-sensei and the monster girls. That mismatch seems to be driving up a lot of readers’ frustration.
   It might’ve been better to keep the incidents lighter and then move on to introducing new monster girls.
3. The characters' abilities don’t make sense in this arc.
   These elite monster girls supposedly have elf-level intelligence and innate physical abilities, yet they were easily brainwashed by a single teacher with drugs. That really breaks immersion.

When I first started reading this series, it had such a special vibe… it’s just sad to see that atmosphere disappear.
Maybe it would’ve been better if the balance was more like 70% rom-com and 30% drama.
The core of this manga shouldn’t be about the dark and heavy drama, but rather about the romantic story between Washio-sensei and the monster girls, small-scale conflict resolution, and the excitement of new monster girls being introduced.

That’s how it was gonna go... Have them search for evidence, have that evidence discovered at the scene, and then have it all taken away… the sequence of events is basically flawless now.
The real issue is: how do we fix this mess and get things back on track? At this rate, there’s seriously no way to return from this… and even if they manage to turn it around, it’s probably gonna take another 15 chapters.

I mean, if the serious part was actually interesting, that’d be one thing—but it’s just dragging on and becoming more frustrating than anything.
Once again, the title feels super misleading, and the villain side still isn’t compelling—they’re just some annoying guy flexing his power.
Even if there’s a big twist later, I don’t think it’ll be all that satisfying at this point.

コレは週刊連載漫画にも関わらず1年近くかかったという例。
当然、読者からのウケは大変悪かった。

I mean, of course I believe the author has an ending in mind.
But I think a lot of readers are starting to lose interest because the buildup is just dragging on too long.
It’s kind of like the Szayelaporro fight in BLEACH—that battle dragged on for nearly a year, even though it was a weekly manga.
Naturally, it didn’t go over well with the readers.
I’m starting to get the same vibe from this.
