I'll go ahead and keep the "Common-Sense Monster" official name for the series on MD. I've heard some people express displeasure with it but I think it does make sense, even as I've grown attached to "Normality and Monsters" lol.

If I decided against "he" I probably would've gone with "it" because Itou and Takahashi are, well, no fans of Niehara lol and Niehara is also much more open about being a monster than Takahashi is. But yeah overall I think "he" makes the most sense from the characters' PoVs.

I didn't expect two-sided yuri this early in the series...I'm a little scared about where this will go now that the worm has caught feelings. It does makes sense but not a fan of the new title they chose for the English translation...

Fun fact! "Kare" and "kanojo" are not only super rare in Japanese, their origin isn't really Japanese per se:
Both terms were invented by Japanese translators after the end of the isolationist period in order to translate European texts to Japanese. While their use in modern Japanese has evolved (notably used to refer to a boyfriend/girlfriend), using them as third person pronouns is typically seen as a form of disrespect (in the Japanese sense at least, I can't really understand the notion myself).
