The reason for the "chapters" having a couple pages, not even split in 2 but 4 parts is sadly very simple.
Is because like this the manga gets 4 "updates" in one month, that makes so the name appears more often in the new releases list on the site is getting published.
More times on it, more chances of getting noticed and getting clicks.
The lenght of the chapter itself is a bit more than a normal weekly magazine release, that makes t detestable and if any pushes people like me to check on it once every couple months, if I remember it, because cliffhangers are one thing, this is just a chapter cut wherever.
No, the art quality being above the average doesn't excuse it.
Anyway, MC remains a idiot, tested the camouflage skill by jumping from a building, making much noise, but was very quick so, did they not notice him for the magic or the speed?
Add to it how maybe it only works on humans, what about cameras?
This makes me think even more strongly that MC got found out for being a idiot and using magic without hiding it, that now we know he could do.
