Is that even Sarah on the last page? Sara is currently on the grasp of the flame titan.So. What is this Teleports Behind You, Nothing Personal Kid. I have Practiced the Blade. Level of out of your bum what a tweest deal is this? How are they going to explain how she did that based on her two skills of Divine/Celestial Boost and Divine/Celestial Blade?
Well, then again, they did a pretty piss poor job of explaining how she did her multiple floating blade thing other than just saying it's her refining her skill. So I guess it'll just be pulling it from the Divine/Celestial Boost.
Probably one of the royal knightsMassive respect for the solo.
And whos that on the last page ?
From the hairstyle, seems to be Leona, head of Sarah's knight orderMassive respect for the solo.
And whos that on the last page ?
Its sara's "teacher", sara's part of her group aka the center knightsProbably one of the royal knights
Yeah, double checked and the ponytail didn't register in my mind on first reading. The character designs aren't exactly extremely different so I just saw a white haired swordswoman with a sharp gaze and just figured she used her Divine Boost and somehow teleported out of the grasp as a I turned the table on you, you thought I was that weak but I'm not, kind of twist. Is that even Sarah on the last page? Yeah i think I'm over it as well. even though i just started reading it the story itself is just too much "shonen manga contrivance " drivel. No suspense when female potential love interest/childhood friend takes on the battle maniac/ psuedo BBEG (due to plot not so much due to being evil). She effortlessly gets throttled and has to be saved because battle maniac just goes too far because well he can't have a sense of honor or integrity after all, that might make him be more than a one dimensional cliche. The translation is good, but I think I'm dropping this because of the manga itself. I feel like a Tournament arc this soon is making the story drag (though going like two years without a translation doesn't help). His brother also got his comeuppence a little too soon. It feels anticlimatic.
I think you nailed it. It really does feel like they're trying to speedrun shonen tropes.Yeah i think I'm over it as well. even though i just started reading it the story itself is just too much "shonen manga contrivance " drivel. Then our MC gets to look supaa kewl with his new turbo power ups from only like 2 days of "training" as he skillfully dispatches this "beast of armageddon" flame titan in one blow. Before the Battle Maniac foretells the "epic battle of awesomeness will happen regardless" yada yada yada. Then enter new challenger who is supposed to look like a challenge but will just be shounen stepping stone number (x).
I mean they just sped run an entire 2-3 different shounen manga arcs in like 3 chapters.
Yup and the biggest problem with that is they are playing it straight. I read a story where they were hitting tons of tropes but the MC was genre savvy and was even lampshading the tropes. So it gave it a comedic effect and then we eventually find out there's actually hidden plot going on bringing far more depth than first expected. So basically the author used the tropes as a hook then bait and switched with an in depth story XDI think you nailed it. It really does feel like they're trying to speedrun shonen tropes.
