Honestly? That'd be an awesome twist.yeah I'm pretty sure he revived the previous demon lords using that forbidden magic, since it was originally belongs to the demon king.
Eh, I could see that going horribly, to be honest; we were shown a panel of citizens reacting to him returning alone, with them fearfully wondering if the demon king was even dead. Telling the public "hey, demon king's dead, but he killed the other heroes in the process" would just cause mass unease bordering on panic.Boy, I wonder if things could have been different if Weltz would just tell somebody else what actually happened.
Yup, they are the same author. They do love to play with the idea of a fight between the Demon Lord and the Hero in unique ways. The volume 1 extra even promoted it.But if he spun the same story about the other heroes being on a mission, but told the king the truth, he'd get locked up in the deepest, darkest hole they could find, if not outright executed to keep him quiet. Hell, there's an entire series with that premise.
Oh well, hate to be that guy but since you were asking for constructive criticism in an earlier credit page, here we go:Hey, Lootad the translator here.
That's some valuable info right here! After I'm done with chapter 5 (coming soon >:] ) I'll go back to my previous chapters and fix some stuff around. I was kind of worried with overusing dash lines, and this one had a lot of those. I'm trying to follow various typesetting guides etc. which focus a lot on text shapes, I guess I got too fixated on those. I did attempt to follow syllables wherever I found them obvious, but english isn't my first language either and It's creating a massive headache... I'm glad you pointed it out though, I will be careful with those later! Also gonna fix it up when taking care of 5.5 as a side job.Oh well, hate to be that guy but since you were asking for constructive criticism in an earlier credit page, here we go:
While I'm no English native speaker either, I noticed some words split across two lines looking weird ("something" on p. 5 to be specific) and upon taking a closer look I found several words being separated in the wrong place. Turns out, finding an online dictionary with syllables is harder than I thought though. Additionally, I can imagine how convenient a simple dash can be to help spread text evenly but it looks like it comes with some grammatical pitfalls...
Another unrelated point (as a contributor I guess I'm more aware of this) but could you assign volume numbers to your chapters (in cases like this one, where to volume already has been released)?
So uh yeah, these are my two cents. I'm really nitpicking here so make of this what you want...
Aw well, and here I was thinking making a new (old?) companion was too easy
Then again, I have a feeling she might come to accept this situation still... Or well, I say that but she seems awfully fixated on exterminating all demons
Thanks for the chapter!

No worries, there are folks consequently uploading without volume numbers and there's (sadly) nothing happening to them. It simply means someone else has to backfill this information...I actually am aware of the volume numbers rules, but so far only 1 was released to the best of my knowledge, and I only realised it a day ago haha. I will quickly assign them now, thanks!
Afaik the only limitation is to not make up titles. As long as your translation isn't downright bad to the point where it's indistinguishable from a made-up title you should be good.Besides that, do you perhaps know how the rules work on translating chapter titles? I know the japanese ones, but wonder if they are as strict as with main manga titles...
