I think it's just annoying because we already had the plot of Raphael supposedly slaying Orobas and Fol wanting revenge. Now we're just swapping characters to Zagan supposedly slaying Raphael and Kuroka wanting revenge.

Major difference being that Raphael is alive, and Kuroka is only given a rumor. Which comparatively is worse. Really shouldn't have repeated this plotline so closely. If anything Fol should've been given the spotlight to help Kuroka here.

That being said there are other parts of this arc that I've liked. Like Zagan casually teaching omega spells to his buddies. And Chastille antics. Hopefully also putting a final end to Bifrons bullshit.
