True, but I'm talking about the greedy theft of someone else's fate/destiny. I don't think I've seen a man intentionally do it in these stories, whereas I've seen a good few stories with women who do it... but I guess it's just a case of 'women, amirite'? :dogkek:

The male version of these stories are in the "betrayed hero" subgenre, where frequently some turbo asshole (who is usually the crown prince) takes all the credit for the deeds of the hero and tries to dispose of him somehow.

So the male versions are usually about stolen credit/glory rather than identity theft.

In Page 30 on the upper right text cloud, Mariana says "Ragna-san please give me Alice.", shouldn't it be "Alicia"?

Thank you for the chapter! :glee:

I'm probably at least the 10th comment saying so (haven't read the others), but it seems pretty obvious someone else got reincarnated into this world and fucked up the plot. That other sage candidate, the kid telling the original heroine not to cross nobles and the one who caused her to get hit by a carriage (as that was 100% not an accident) are definitely one and the same person.
Someone's playing the long game here and their plans are going to get destroyed by some mob character. Just where have I seen this plot structure before...? /s

I think some "Reincarnated as a Villain" stories would count as well if the MC leans into being a villain and intentionally crushes the (usually shitty) heroes.

So it seems pretty obvious that Another girl isekai'd into the story, and is purposely ruining the heroines and villainess's lives. This person likely pushed the heroine in front of the carriage, or set it up at least. This person also likely set the villainess up, though why she needed to, and why the villainess didn't act like she probably 'should' have is a mystery.

On another note, why is it always women who isekai into these stories and try to steal the heroines place? I don't think I've seen one with a man. :dogkek:
In some stories I've read there is other isekaied people that cant stand not being the MC, its usually because they feel like that since they were isekaied then clearly they are the MC that or they are just selfish and wanna take advantage or the knowledge they have of the world while ruining characters they hate and keeping all the "hot" characters as their lovers, slaves, and or servants (how do they do this....idk why? IDK!)

its not always limited to what i mention but its always something similar "what yours is mine and what mine is mine"

Examples are but not limited too:

[Traped in a dating sim]
[The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival]
[Ive become the true Villainess]
[Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story]

(sorry these are the only ones i can remember the name to atm...)
