Like MC had questioned, 'if I was supposed to be part of her destiny, why didn't I appear right next to her when I got dragged from my world?'

It's really all part of this god's plan. MC appearing in the forest and growing the resistance with the Demi-Humans was something the god, Adol, already accounted for. It was necessary for him to gain that experience before finally meeting with the common people of the Humans, before meeting Elen, to take the two people in the very direction MC was coming up with in his head. Even at first meeting, Elen pointed out how her following Adol's teachings aren't the same as what current higher ups in Adolism are trying to proclaim (Human Supremacy could be part of that).

Here we go again with the issue of monogamy! Men need to dismiss the outdated beliefs stemming from the teachings of the European Church.
The truth is that polygamy has been the principle for men since the beginning of humanity. A man can choose to have one wife or several; it's entirely a matter of personal choice. The European Church was the one that imposed a monogamous view of marriage to serve the interests of Kings and Queens back then. It's not even mentioned in the Bible. SMH.

There may not be any mentions about taking on multiple spouses being not allowed, but David, Solomon, and Abraham, key figures in the bible, are prime examples of how taking on many wives and lovers will lead to chaos and destruction in their lives. You are correct that this was a matter of choice for them, but that doesn't mean their choice was the correct one, as well as what God wants for them in scripture.

It's because of those examples and how the European Church wants to spread God's word that they promote monogamy and make polygamy illegal.
