I’m surprised they wouldn’t form some women’s only wine group if not a bunch of neighborhood ppl but I imagine if they’re not already married that they’d still be picky, while Mc isn’t the worst, he’d probably need to be at least a team manager or so/higher up on the ladder of his job if he isn’t super fit for his age

Is she a manipulator? She didn't suck male character's money, he paid himself. She didn't ask for expensive gifts. But male character are already imagining things. The future rejection will hit him hard.

I apologize, but regardless of your desperation, you should not emulate this MC. He is a man without pride, allowing a woman to manipulate him in ways that contradict his supposed life experience. The author has not clarified why the MC acts so foolishly.

we don't know yet but who knows it could be a long scheme game with her and that other 'womanizer' guy to pick 'easy' targets, even if he's like "no i insist on paying" each time versus splitting the bills or her picking cheap places even if korea is a bit more 'traditional' with gender roles in society (despite the feminist 4b movement or whatever) versus being warned "never offer to pay for a woman more than twice"/watch out for gold diggers kinda advice or so

I don't think he had previous serious partners before despite there being a panel where he was supposedly popular during college? since the premise was basically "before i realized, i turned 40" but it might be better than him being a divorcee still paying alimony or whatever

It would make for a good movie tho but idk if it'd have a depressing end versus him turning his life around with a successful job/marriage as opposed to ending miserable unless ppl wanna see misery porn
