That was the whole point of my message. I didn't read this manga beside the first chapter (i think) waiting for more chapters to read a whole chunk.
My messaging was mostly to give clarity that most boys during or pre-puberty wake up to sexual interest. If his story though is mostly about lacking female love but not being completely against female charms.
In more realistic setting i doubt a boy would refuse advances and likely even use this as a point of pride and a bragging point.
In mangas we must have at least one party to be against it or else publisher or public will lynch this work.
There are a few works like that and all have different directions the most tame one being: While author teases with some romantic tension they become something like friends and some pages showing future where they are like friends or relatives. Some works who aren't afraid of SJW lynching and/or potential bashing show that after +10 years for example they are finally dating though rarer occasion than the 1st one. Salary, admission to university, promotion and etc being looked from gender neutral lense i.e. if the gender were reversed is valid and sound logic. Sexuality is not, it requires a more scalpel like looking at the situation.
Even courts give MUCH lighter sentences to female pedo offenders than to males, gives you a clear understanding that they know and understand the difference.
