Ooh, she was captured and used as a hostage to coerce the others into finding dirt on a rival group. Kana broke out and caught up. That makes more sense.

Did we skip a chapter? Last one ended with Kanna passing out, and now we’ve time skipped and the girls are trying to get evidence for something, from some random villain. And did they actually think she was dead? I thought the “no longer with us” thing was going to be a joke set up.

It legitimately feels like we skipped a chapter or two. Last chapter ends with Kana fainting and now everyone else is inexplicably targeting some other random group of survivors? Then, Kana just suddenly reappears and she’s completely fine? Also, there’s now 3 random pervert ‘cops’?

I feel like they were possibly trying to infiltrate this new survivor group to find something to help Kana, but we we just never learned that information?

Here we are again, with the author’s not at all disguised NTR fetish. If it was once or twice for cheap shock value, that would’ve been one thing, but it seems like the female leads are always in some sort of sexually vulnerable position, and it’s gotten progressively more disgusting. It feels like the author didn’t know how to continue the story after the last chapter, and they didn’t know how to shoehorn the fmcs almost getting raped into the progression, so they just said fuck it and skipped straight to the part they love most without any plot whatsoever. It’s never been a particularly good series, but the author’s been getting far too blatant with this shit, so I’m gonna have to call it here.
