Also if you guys have kept up with the news, a lot of Comic Earthstar series(Villager A's publisher) have gotten anime announcements because of Comic Earthstars 10th anniversary.

These series are
1.)Mushoku no Eiyuu
2.)Reincarnated as a Dragon Egg
3.)Sengoku Komachi
4.)A Wild Last Boss Appeared!
5.)Hell Mode
6.)A Tale of the Secret Saint

There are others I cannot identify in the pic related.

This comes after the anime of their other 2 series Instant Death and Parry Everything and the anime of Frontier Lord will come soon.

Unfortunately, Villager A did not get selected for an anime adaptation so hopefully they will announce one later this year or next year.

Another series that didn't get picked was Growing Tired of the Slow High Elf Life(aka. Male Frieren).

Well, the Empire also planned to use Ana as a Super Soldier type (as per game scenario), since the Empire already knew that she had a lot of mana and power (among the best in the current generation of Noble's). I mean Ana as a Knight Soldier from the Empire was supposed to be a climax Boss character of the game.

And yeah, Empire is proud of its power and capabilities. Which is why they don't consider a scenario were they would lose. To them, losing a free thousand soldiers and small area isn't that big of an issue as they believe they can easily take them back.
I mean, even in the game scenario they easily defeated and took over the Kingdom without much of a hassle.

As for what MC is doing, that's only on the frontlines for now, and information takes time to travel in this world especially since not many survivors are left behind MC's bombardment.

Not to forget, we don't really know the time difference between what's happening to Ana that's being shown and what MC is doing.
I mean it's already been said that MC started act about one week after Ana went missing. So it might have been close to a month by now since Ana was taken away for MC.
On the other hand, the events we see with Ana might be around 2nd week after her kidnapping, around the time after Empire declared war on the Kingdom.

Depending on situations, rape might actually feel tame, as at the end it's physical pain and abuse, compared to mental torture which is far worse.

I mean, you can recover from physical injures in a few months, but mental abuse & torture stays with you for decades or even until you die. Even in the case of rape, most of the victims are more mentally traumatized by the event than by their physical pain (most of the time many rape victims easily recover and go on to live their life normally after the event, but that's not the case with those who were mentally abused as majority of them end up in mental asylum).

Since Allen is only now about to reclaim a fortress, I don't think they realize they're bound to lose. Yeah their army has taken some heavy hit, but breaking her could theoretically even things back up, if not create a powerful hostage tool. War isn't so simple that a few heavy losses is all it takes to end the fighting and break out the white flags, especially when pride enters the mix.

The thing is, we don't yet know the difference in timelines between what's happening with Ana & what's Allen doing.

Keep in mind that, Allen only learned about Ana being sold away one week after she left, and by that time the Empire had also declared war on the Kingdom.

Meaning, it's possible that the events we see that's occuring with Ana might be within 2 weeks of her kidnapping, while the events occuring with Allen might be 3-4 weeks later after learning that Ana is missing.

Why I am giving such a big timeline gap, well that's because while Allen can do work fast, but the others aka., Army and personals would take time to gather and move.
It is easily possible that Allen was only able to start working roughly a week or more after he learned about Ana's kidnapping.

Based on what people were saying about this arc, I expected some more brutality, but what Allen's doing is extremely tame.
Limited bombing runs on military targets are next to useless when compared to indiscriminate attacks on civilian targets in the country's interior. By bombing villages and towns miles behind the battle lines, you shatter enemy morale rather than chip away at it because now they have no idea where you'll strike and thus cannot make any preparations, plus their own citizenry begins to demand the war's end out of fear and desperation.
You could argue that knowledge of these attacks will be suppressed, but that's a lot of effort controlling the populace that could have been spent prosecuting a war since you'll need to purge the survivors to stop them from scattering to nearby towns and telling everyone there what happened.

Idk why Ana hesitated when he heard Allen was dead when she didn't with his fathers death, she knows that he is strong. He won't die by a spear from some unknown person.
