There prolly are chaebol and makjang (over the top melodrama) kdrama storylines that prolly does that or worse
I vaguely remember a webcomic where they like referenced or parodied someone hypothetically/fantasizing a situation where the mom/potential mom in law handed an envelope full of money , idk if it’s from a famous particular series or just a trope but I guess there prolly are some scenes where it’s like “I’ll give you this much to stop dating my son”
I beleive there was also a WEBTOON where someone who’s a single mother reunited with the dad , who they were separated from/didn’t even know she was pregnant bc he got into an accident like 3 months into the pregnancy or so and the mom/some love rival interferes so he didn’t even know he had a kid
