I mean, she was being nothing but considerate of his feelings and he still was pushing it. She went along with all of his horrible date ideas that he made specifically to scare and annoy her with minimal complaints and genuinely complemented him multiple times. She doesn't really seem like a hypocrite to me.

She went along because of her own feelings.
Sure hypocrite might be a harsh word in this case but her talk during her rage was off puting for me. Not saying the boy was right either but just pointing out that the same could be said about her. She herself didn't get that he didn't like her and was just pranking her since he thought she was lying.
