Honestly i'm surprised there's not a failsafe, other than specific errands like, "you are not allowed to be more than 50km away from your master for more than 2 hours" or so although if anything i'm surprised he allowed her to go to the grocery store/not sure where she's getting money from to keep buying groceries for his food or so
