Honestly the amount of times trauma in manga was actually trauma, could probably be counted on one hand, the rest calls it "trauma" to make it come across as oh so heavy, but in the same chapter they magically throw away said trauma which was "tormenting" them for years

I think it'd be really fun (tl note: narratively interesting) to have it turn out that she actually is only talking to him to get closer to his brother. Because then they'll have to work through that somehow in a way that'd probably be less forced and definitely more meaningful than the inevitable misunderstanding that'll happen.

I don't think it's real deep trauma, just experience. Plus he's a teenage boy, so he's still hopeful. He's been burned before, but he still wants to believe, so his optimism is in conflict with his experience.

Real trauma isn't something resolved in mere seconds, i mean he practically dropped it as he was thinking about it kinda made it look like "Meh whatever moving on", instead of him actually being burdened by it, yes he had a some bad experience, but he isn't even especially hung up on that by how it feels, like if she were to make some advances now, he'd probably cave in right away (or so it feels) 😶

This would be way more interesting if the mc wasnt such a blubbering shy mess at all points. The girl was basically nice to him once and hes head over heels for her and nearly cums himself with every gesture she makes.
Even if he just "won" a few interactions here and there it would atleast be a bit more intersting, as is hes basically just the typcial mc who goes "kyaaaa" every time the perfect stoic love interest does anything.

Two questions also:
-how tf did she fall in love with him? They didnt really seem to have any interactions beforehand
-why isnt he used to women at this point if so many used him to get to his brother?
