writing has always been the part of comics that takes the less labor, a productive writer can get out a lot more scripts than a penciler can pages

Well, it's an adaptation so it's not like the author need to write completely new story. Also Index's (to aru) author are even more crazy at how fast he's spitting out new volume.

from what I understand, most of his work are still within the same shared universe, aren't they?
I'm more incline to believe the possibility of that happening since he already created the world, he can easily make a rather short, focused, alternate stories from that

Stephen King spat out stories as easily as he breathe. But I believe most of his stories are short stories, and not some long multi-volumes stories.

Synopsis say "Clean Freak Girlfriend", means she'd find it "gross" and "unsanitary" to do anything physical (Shouldn't matter, if male, or female), if the Synopsis are accurate that is, not androphobia (fear of men) don't think she'd have a boyfriend to begin with in that scenario 😶
