Ok, Lets be real: What did you really expect?
Uruma just don't want to "kill him", he want Kyou to suffer. So let's consider two possibilities:

1.- Uruma bursts out of the machine and beats Kyou to death. He never finds out that the other girls were in the other room, or if he does, they're already dead because Kyou most likely told his assistant to kill them if anything happened. Only Kawana "survives" (and I put that in quotes because there are still members of Kyou's cult out there, so they'll probably kill her later), and Uruma doesn't get any real revenge because he didn't end up killing everyone indirectly.

2.- Uruma enters the game and just as it's about to start, he throws himself at Kyou... But the guy who appeared in the previous episode stops him. Uruma can't do anything and watches as one of the girls gets shotgunned. The exact same thing would happen as now, but with him stuck to the floor.

And we haven't even dealt with the bullshit that Kyou had a mirror in front of him, protecting him from Uruma. Kyou literally has it dancing in the palm of his hand. All or almost all of the girls would have died anyway, no matter what Uruma did.

And don't get me wrong, the writing is BAD, but all the comments expected Uruma to kill Kyou as soon as he appeared knowing how controlling and methodical the guy is.

Not a slightest bit of resistence coming from our dumbass protagonist, no fist fight, no busting the kneecap of this gay ass edgelord with his gun, nothing...Uruma did nothing at all. Even if he didn't know about the hostages situation, he could at least apprehend Kyou and use him as a leverage to smooth things out if its possible.
Now we have people dying left and right and Uruma is sitting in the front row watching the shitshow unfolding with no leverage or upperhand whatsoever
